24/7 Incident Response: When Your Server Goes Down Now

It is two in the morning, the shop is not responding, monitoring fires, and the person who knows the systems is unreachable. This situation is exactly what our incident response exists for: experienced Linux and DevOps engineers who intervene instead of just answering an email, around the clock, also without a contract.

What happens in the emergency: The first intervention targets restoration of operations: what failed, what still runs, where is the bottleneck. We secure the state before we change anything, then we fix the cause or bypass it so your operation runs again. After restoration comes the second part many providers omit: the follow-up.

Incident report and action plan: After every intervention you receive an incident report: a timeline of the event, what we found, which measures we took, what the triggering cause was and which steps prevent a repetition. From this report an action plan emerges when needed, for example additional monitoring, a configuration change or a hardening measure. An incident that changes nothing repeats itself.

Which incidents we take on: System and service outages as well as security incidents: signs of unauthorized access, suspicious processes, compromised accounts, active exploitation of vulnerabilities. For security incidents the principle applies especially to secure the state before changing it, because the traces are later needed for follow-up and internal clarification.

What you need to provide: Access to the affected systems and a reachable contact on your side. Everything else we take over. In an emergency you do not fill out tickets or wait on forms: the first path leads directly to an engineer.

When this fits you: This service is meant for the moment it burns. It also works as a fallback option for teams that run their systems themselves but want an experienced second pair of hands on file for the emergency. Many customers start with one emergency and stay as regular customers afterwards; we welcome that, but it is not a requirement.

Response times and models: How fast we respond in the case of the case depends on the billing model you have on file. We document the current times and models centrally on the services overview, so a single authoritative source stands there.

If the incident was caused by a security gap, a hardening review often follows; details on our security hardening page. For the safety net beside the emergency, such as tested backups, see our DevOps Backup Service page.

Contact Us Today while everything runs, or directly in the emergency: we respond on both paths.
